Daylight Saving Time Ends

The end of daylight saving time is coming up. Daylight Savings Time ends on the first Sunday in November. We “Fall Back” one hour and return to Standard Time on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 a.m.

Be sure to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

The return of standard time means the sun will rise a little earlier therefore you will enjoy more natural light in the morning. You will also gain one more hour of sleep. The bad news is it will be dark by the time most of us leave our jobs.

With little progress on recent proposals, Americans will continue to "fall back" in 2024 and "spring forward" next year.

P.S. It's also a good idea to check the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
