June is National PTSD Awareness Month — a time to shine a light on post-traumatic stress among veterans, first responders, and civilians. By recognizing the signs, reducing stigma, and encouraging open conversations, we can help ensure no one faces these challenges alone.

Together, we can build a more informed, compassionate, and supportive community.

Resources:
National Center for PTSD: ptsd.va.gov
Veterans Crisis Line: Call 988, Press 1
Maryland Crisis Hotline at +1-800-422-0009
Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741
National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988
Frederick County Peer Support: 301‑600‑PEER

By recognizing the signs, supporting one another, and reducing stigma, we strengthen our entire community. This month, take a moment to learn, share, and help connect someone to resources.
