EMS Week 2026 is observed from Sunday, May 17, through Saturday, May 23, marking the 52nd annual celebration of emergency medical services professionals across the United States. This week recognizes the dedication and life-saving efforts of EMTs, paramedics, and all EMS personnel. It highlights their essential role in delivering critical prehospital care, including advancements such as prehospital ultrasound, early stroke identification, and whole blood administration. EMS Week also emphasizes the importance of supporting providers through fair compensation, safe staffing, mental health resources, and continued professional development.

As we honor our EMS professionals, we also welcome community members who feel called to serve. If you’re interested in making a meaningful impact, gaining valuable skills, and supporting your neighbors in moments that matter most, consider joining our volunteer team. Your commitment can help strengthen our system and support the future of emergency care.
