| This week, we formally recognize National Telecommunicators Week and extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated professionals of the Frederick County Emergency Communications Center. These highly trained individuals serve as the first point of contact during emergencies, providing critical information, coordinating responses, and ensuring that fire, rescue, law enforcement, and EMS resources are dispatched swiftly and accurately. Their expertise, composure, and unwavering commitment are essential to the safety and well-being of our community. Telecommunicators consistently perform under pressure, often during the most challenging and high stakes situations, yet they remain calm, focused, and ready to support residents and responders alike. We are grateful for their exceptional service and professionalism, and we proudly honor the vital role they play in Frederick County’s emergency response system. Thank you to all our telecommunicators for your outstanding dedication. |
