We make up the membership of the 26 fire and rescue corporations located across Frederick County, MD.
These corporations partner with the county government to form a combination career-volunteer fire and rescue system. This combination of county career employees and citizen volunteers delivers the best firefighting and emergency medical services possible to those in need throughout Frederick County.
We are a proud organization that has a role for everyone, 16 years of age to 90 years of age—firefighters, emergency medical providers, hazardous materials technicians, advanced technical rescue specialists, auxiliary members, and more.
